About

We help technology companies make fewer, better decisions

Strategizes is a specialist advisory practice working with technology and AI companies on the questions that sit at the intersection of product, pricing, and organisational design.

We exist because too many technology companies confuse activity with progress. Engineering velocity is high. Features ship regularly. But without a coherent product thesis and commercial logic, each release makes the product wider without making it more valuable.

Who we work with

Founders, CPOs, and executive teams at inflection points

Our clients are typically Series A through growth-stage technology companies. They have strong engineering teams, paying customers, and a product that works, but recognise that the next phase of scale requires sharper commercial thinking.

We work across sectors including enterprise SaaS, developer tools, AI infrastructure, fintech, and digital platforms. What unites our clients is not their sector but their stage: the point where product decisions start to carry real commercial weight.

What we do

Product strategy, monetisation, and organisational design

We advise on three interconnected areas: deciding what to build (product strategy), designing how value translates into revenue (monetisation), and structuring teams so decisions scale (organisation design).

We also place senior technical talent, including product managers, engineers, and product leaders, into the companies we advise and the broader technology ecosystem.

Principal Consultant

Amit Godbole

Amit leads Strategizes. He works directly with founders, CPOs, and executive teams on product strategy, monetisation design, and organisational structure.

His background spans product management, commercial strategy, and pricing across enterprise SaaS, AI infrastructure, developer tools, and digital platforms. He has advised companies from Series A through to growth stage on how to translate product capability into commercial advantage.

Before founding Strategizes, Amit held senior product and commercial roles where he built pricing functions, restructured product organisations, and led go-to-market strategy for new product lines.

He is direct, structured, and focused on outcomes. Every engagement he leads is designed to produce a decision, not a document.

Most technology companies do not lack ambition or engineering talent. They lack the commercial and product discipline to convert capability into durable business value.

How we think

Working Principles

A few beliefs that shape how Strategizes thinks about decisions, execution, and outcomes.

01

Pricing is a product decision.

Pricing architecture and product architecture are inseparable. Treating them as separate workstreams produces misaligned incentives and brittle revenue models.

02

Technical debt is a business decision.

Debt is a portfolio, not a defect. The decision about what to pay down, defer, or write off is a commercial one and belongs in front of the leadership team.

03

Roadmaps are expressions of trade-offs.

A roadmap that contains everything contains nothing. Real roadmaps make the trade-offs visible and force conviction about what matters.

04

Infrastructure decisions compound over time.

Platform, vendor, and infrastructure choices set the slope of every future decision. The cost of getting them wrong shows up years later.

05

Metrics influence behaviour.

Organisations optimise for what they measure. The choice of metric is therefore a strategic choice, not a reporting choice.

06

Strategy is resource allocation.

Strategy is not a document. It is the pattern of where capital, talent, and attention are deployed over time.
